An issue when enable-illustrator is off, some computations seem to be ignored producing NULL characters in the output file, when enable-illustrator is on, it works normally.

Reproducible on commit jrspence/parabix-devel@f9efc343, input file: hello.txt.

Run command: make -j12 && bin/audioamplifier -f 2 -o hello_out.txt hello.txt

We are also experiencing an unusual issue with the program that we think it might be related: Running the program without enable-illustrator first and then running with enable-illustrator, the program freezes. Interestingly, recompiling the code with make -j12 resolves the freezing issue.
