ZeroExtended attribute bug
When combined with a Deferred() attribute, ZeroExtended() seems
create an erroneous zeroing of unprocessed data. This is a
problem for commit 7b595ec3
, although a workaround has
eliminated the problem on master.
The test case for this is the command:
bin/icgrep -colors=never '[a-z]{15}' ../QA/testfiles/4KiB-onepage |hexdump -Cv
The output shows that the final line of data has been zeroed out. Note that the scanbatch kernel sets the processed item count to the the stride final line start position.
